Comments about AccuScreens Deluxe Fixed Frame Matte White:
the screen was easy to use and most of the set up was easy- putting it together was a snap. the only real problem in setup- and why it took a whole day is the hanging brackets. the system used 2 simple brackets that mount to the wall. The screen has a track that hooks to the bracket. the bracket is simple- about 3 inches long with three holes, 2 round holes and one oblong hole in the middle of the bracket. since the ceiling was quite close to the top of the screen (1/2 inch) and the ceiling was not true level, it required many adjustments to get the screen to look level. because 2 of the holes on the bracket were round and had no ability to adjust, we had to remove the bracket many times to adjust their height relative to the ceiling and other bracket- it took hours- in the end we honed out the 2 outside holes on the bracket to allow some play in the adjustment. It would have been easy at the factory to simply drill 3 oblong holes with leeway for adjustment. could have saved us hours of work.
also, its a good idea to have 2 people for the setup. this large of a screen is rather unwieldy. Otherwise, great product!

Q:Does the 58" X 106" refer to the viewing surface only or the total dimensions from outboard frame edge to edge?Asked on 4/6/2014 by Patrick your Loyal customer from Marysville, WA
A:The 58” X 106” dimension refers to the surface only. The frame adds an additional 4” to those numbers (the frame is 2” wide).

A:The viewing is actually 58x104 and the overall size is 62"x108".Answered on 4/8/2014 by Sarah Buss
Does this screen have any advantage over projector screen paint on a surface like vinyl other than a possible viewing angle difference?
I have a fixed income of only $700 a mo. and a little bit saved up but unless there's a VERY PRONOUNCED DIFFERECE in contrast and brightness I can't see paying the cost difference. T Y.

A:Yes, the screen makes a huge difference. Perfectly smooth and very reflective and provides a wide viewing angle. Always the best way to go.Answered on 2/6/2014 by ProjectorPeople.com from Tampa, FL
A:We love this screen for the way it looks in the room and the way it brightens up the picture. However, we watched our projector on the wall (not with projector paint - just the textured, tan wall) for over a year without a problem. I would not say the screen make a very pronounced difference!Answered on 2/3/2014 by Anonymous
A:It is a great screen, but I wouldn't say it it would be worth it for you if you don't care about viewing angle and don't want to spend the extra cash.
