    Comments about Hitachi CP-X5022WN:

We have a chapel that used to be a horse barn. we hold about 300 people in our chapel and it is semi bright. This projector cuts right through the light and looks great. Set-up was relatively simple. Overall a great product.

      Comments about Hitachi CP-X5022WN:

The old projector remote would only work held in front of the machine. This one seems to work from anywhere. A real advantage not to have to stand up front waving the remote around trying to get a signal to the projector.

              A:

Here are a few things you can try:
              1. Does the laptop hdmi output work on another hdmi display?
              2. Sounds simple but have you selected the proper input on the projector?
              3. Try another hdmi cable. Not all hdmi cables are made the same.
              Hope this help,

              A:

              Hello Khai,
I don't have much to offer here, as we have not had this
problem with our unit, after ~3 months of installation. I did note,
however, that the manual says that once turned on, the unit should remain on
for at least 10min's. Also, once turned off, the unit should remain off for
at least 10 min's. Apparently failing to follow those guidelines can cause
damage to the system. It seems logical that the temperature/power control
functioning would be the part that would suffer.
Wish I had better insight to offer, but I did want to put
              that out there.
              Hope you get it resolved.
              Cheers,
              Jeff

We recently got this same model and all I can think of is that if it's not able to find a source (I.e. computer) the bulb will shut off to save life. If the signal is getting thru the bulb should stay on.
