WOW! I am absitively posolutely ... AMAZED!

Got the projector last night and fired it up this morning against a wall - the screen should be here Monday. Inputs are 480i and 480p from a DVD and 720p from an ATSC tuner via the YPbPr input. Lamp set to LOW in a dimmed (not dark) room - contrast and color saturation are spot on w/ my AVIA DVD!

Many, many thanks for steering me in the right direction - an INCREDIBLE picture for less than 1/2 of what I thought I'd have to spend! The quality easily keeps pace with the $5k-$12k projectors I demoed locally, and SMOKES plasma, LCD and DLP flat screens. And I'm future-protected until 1080p becomes mainstream.

Now comes the fun part - snaking cables through the walls and into the attic in July in Phoenix ;-)

I just had to write and let you know what a pleasure it was to buy my projector from you. I dealt with Ross and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Aside from his knowledge of the products he was one of the best Customer Service Agents I have ever come in contact with. I work in the hospitality industry and I have ordered many items on-line for our hotels and the customer service I have received with most of the companies I have dealt with in the past has been by far unsatisfactory. When I ordered from projector people I not only received a "thank you" call but also two separate calls and emails informing me of the status of my order and the ship date of my order. It was a pleasure ordering on-line with projector people and I will look to them in the future for any additional purchases. Thank you for putting the "customer" back in customer service!

Thanks for your help. The Projector People website was instrumental in helping our church select our projector and accessories. From gathering information on projectors and our needs, to comparing prices Projector People was our number one resource. I looked at several other websites, but kept coming back to Projector People for information and clarification. It was easily the most user friendly projector website out of the 6 or 7 I visited, and with the most easily accesible and understandable information as well as competitive prices. I wanted to write and tell you how happy my husband and I are with our new home theater. When I first called I was still feeling the "sting" of a recent quote from a competitor company. They came over and tried to sell me a system I didn't want. For example, I wanted a projector TV but I wanted it to be concealed since it was going to be placed in our living room where we like to entertain. However I became frustrated when the "technician" -a.k.a. high-pressure salesman- completely dismissed my ideas telling me that a projector TV does have a quality picture. Then he tried to tell me that a 60" plasma with six speakers and TWO subwoofers was the only way to go. Well, I was floored when I was quoted $19,000 and THAT didn't include installation.

My first words to your rep, Mike were, "My name is not Rockefeller" I then told him of my story and how disappointed I was with my experience with (competitor). Mike couldn't have been more helpful and patient as we went over what I was looking for in a home theater system. Not only did he tell me that a projector TV was equal to or better than a plasma, he also assured and reassured me that if I can install a ceiling fan (which I can) then I can install a home theater system. I must admit I was apprehensive at first but with his help (meaning he practically held my hand through the whole process which is quite a feat since he is in Florida and I am in CT.) and with the help of my carpenter who was renovating the living room at the time we installed the system. I couldn't believe how easy the process was. And the picture?? Well, my husband and I were completely amazed at the quality of the picture. Plus to my delight, I was able to conceal an 8 foot screen and projector when we had guests. Best of all was the price. With a projector, screen and a Bose surround sound system we spent a total of $6,000. 1/3 the cost of (competitor's) quote.

It goes to show you that you don't have to be a Rockefeller to have a home theater system nor do you have to have a PhD in electrical engineering to install it. All you need is someone like Mike.

Your site was very easy to navigate, pages loaded quickly (with dsl).....information was easy to understand........and once I called in and spoke to one of your representatives who answered more questions and helped me purchase the correct screen for the type of equipment I already owned, I found the entire experience with your company very easy and pleasant!! Just a quick email to say how truly impressed I am with your service. After spending literally hours on the internet trying to find a good deal on a video projector, I discovered that you can indeed find a "good deal" but rarely find good service to go with it. After stumbling onto your company, I immediately liked the simplicity of your website, and loved the price of your projector stock. The next step was to make a call to the company and ask a few questions. I was able to get a "warm body" on the phone immediately (something new), who was very familiar with his product (not common), had the projector in stock (I'm shocked), will ship that day and I will get it the next day (nobody offers that!). But sure enough, Ryan and the Projector People were true to their word and I received the projector the next morning and I had ordered it late in the afternoon the day before. I'm in Kansas and they are in Florida! Ryan was able to tell me that the projector I wanted was discontinued, find it's replacement and which was cheaper still! After fighting websites, false promises, phone delays, high prices, and long deliveries, I am really jazzed about these guys and in particular, my customer rep, Ryan. We hooked up the projector today after the mounting bracket came in just as you promised, and the rest is up to us. For your part, you standout in the Internet World of Commerce.

...I looked at several AV company websites trying to find the best price for the product we need. Some sites were difficult to navigate. Half the time when I finally found the exact product in question there was no price included. What a pain!! I'm happy to say that your site was very easy to navigate. Each screen was precise and to the point, including pricing. Working for a state agency I had a question regarding sales tax (we're tax exempt). A quick phone call to your customer service dept and Kirk answered my few questions quickly, no confusion. While I had him on the phone I went ahead and ordered the product. Quick and easy. I wanted to take a few minutes to let those of you at Projector People know how pleased I was with my projector purchasing experience the other day. First, your web site was great. Not only were the product information descriptions and comparisons thorough and easy to understand, but the tutorials were outstanding especially as they related to the product information. However, even after reading much of the information you provided I still had a question or two so I took you up on your offer to call for more information.

I was connected with Sarah who not only answered my specific questions (without making me feel as ignorant as I am), but also tried to get an understanding of my needs and concerns. In the end, she made a recommendation that was more economical and higher quility than anything I was considering...I could not have imagined spending that much money through an internet site. However, the information on your site was more comprehensive and helpful than any articles I found. And Sarah was the icing on the cake. I'm really looking forward to getting the projector in action. The site was great, and the links even better. I did an awful lot of research through your site, and even managed to learn a thing or two. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be in the category of Accessories. Even though I was able to order the correct mounting kit and cable through a call to my rep Lisa (see next paragraph), I know I did not see the same info roaming your site.

However, what really set you apart was my rep Lisa. She was great with feeding me info when I asked. She answered all questions professionally. And made my Monday morning when I placed this order by saving me a few dollars. Will I use you again, you betcha. Will I recommend your site, your darn tootin'. I have far too few occasions to write these type of letters, but I felt it was very important to let you know what outstanding associates you have working with you. I am an Audio / Video consultant that works primarily in the live production and church fields. My search for technical information (the stuff that's usually not in the manuals) is a never ending quest, that is almost always disappointing at best. Integrating complex systems can be tedious business with ever changing technologies, and we are often at the mercy of the mysterious manufacturer's feeble attempt with tech support, under the guise of "customer service". We've all been there, and we all know what little results we can usually expect. So...I feel compelled to congratulate you on two of you employees.

First, Rich. He has been an invaluable resource to me and my group in recommending, locating and delivering products that were available; had all the applicable resources (imagine that), and within the budget parameters of the job. He is the best I have ever worked with. Period. Second, and most importantly, Dale. As often happens, I ended up with a customer in a panic situation with a product that suddenly is not working correctly. Rich put me in touch with Dale and after my failed attempts to reach the manufacturer, Dale was able to diagnose the problem correctly, furnish me with an updated manual, talk me through the process, and follow up to make sure it worked. All of this while the manufacturer could not even comprehend the problem. Unbelievable!! And, by the way, the unit works perfectly now. Thank you Dale.

I want to thank you for your assistance and your patience while dealing with me. It is representatives like Donna that make a buying experience pleasureable. I know there are a lot people who make enough money to purchase what they want, no matter the cost. However, it is customers like myself who are new to this projector industry, that do not have the knowledge to know where to even start. Kind of like buying a car, you seem to hate the experience regardless of the product you bought, just on the way you were treated by the sales staff.

Your expertise and the way you explained each detail about different projectors and screens that make me feel confident I made the right purchase (and I don't even have the product yet). I haven't received it yet.. but It's on the way. I have searched extensively for a projector, online, at stores, in catalogues. I read reviews about other companies and how they handled their customers. How their orders didn't get shipped or was some sort of "gray market" unit. It's scary! I'm one of those types that need to hold it need to touch and then want to take it home right then, Not an impulse buyer at all, just when I make my decision I want it now :) John my rep. helped me talked to me a long time, asking me great questions and offering suggestions. I felt like I was actually in a store not on the internet shopping. I applaud your company. It was effortless to shop with your folks. Congrats on doing a class job. I will tell and definitely show everyone my new projector and let them know how they can deal with a great company.

Here's some feedback. Your website is fine. It projects an image of concern with the customer, especially the tutorial/explanation stuff. But the real reason I bought from you is the customer service by real human beings. I called Ross twice with questions about particular projectors and screens before finally placing my order on the third call. I might have been able to get a cheaper price somewhere else, but the helpful information he provided (without that annoying pressure to buy buy buy), made me want to do business with you again, and I will recommend your site to others without hesitation. I originally picked you guys because you have the best customer service reviews on a comparison shopping site. Keep emphasizing the PEOPLE in projectorpeople.
