BrilliantColor™

BrilliantColor™ is a multi-color image processing technology employed on many new single-chip DLP® projectors. DLP® projectors with BrilliantColor™ utilize up to 6 color processing for higher color brightness and truer, vibrant colors. BrilliantColor™ can enable up to a 50% increase in mid tones and expands the color palette beyond red/green/blue to include yellow, white, magenta and cyan for more realistic and lifelike color reproduction.

Projectors that use other imaging technology such as LCD only use three primary colors of red, green and blue to create an image on the screen. DLP® projectors with BrilliantColor™ technology process as many as six separate colors. The result is a stunning image on the screen that features up to 50% improvement in color brightness. DLP® projectors with BrilliantColor™ technology offer stunning, realistic colors that enhance every image on the screen. Color accuracy is paramount to a quality image. BrilliantColor™ not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well. This combination produces a new level of color performance that sets DLP® technology apart.
