"I bought a non-HD big screen in 1999, knowing that in about five or six years HighDef TV would be a little more affordable. When I heard the Xbox-360 would support HighDef I knew it was time to buy. I choose the Mitsubishi HC3000U, mainly because of the new chip technology and the $300 rebate. The absence of a horizontal lens shift meant that projector and screen placement needed to be dead-on. This took some time, but once the measurements were calculated it only took a short amount of time to mount everything up. The projector is mounted using a Chief RPA-U Universal Mount. The screen is 102 inches and was a DIY project using Parkland Plastics Pollywall for the screen surface.

After boarding up the window I have complete light control in the room, I am extremely happy with the room set-up, and the dark greenish/brown paint my wife choose gives it a very cozy feeling. The projector is hooked up to an OPPO 971H upconverting DVD player, an Explorer 8300 HD DVR from Time Warner and an Xbox-360. No more crowded overpriced movie theaters for me, EVER!"
