"I would like to tell you how thrilled my wife and I are with our new Home Theater. It all began with a desire to make better use of our Netflix subscription and your kindness and helpful expertise. The quick education I received from you and your on-line calculator helped us to choose the right projector and achieve something we have always wanted, but didn't think we could afford.

I like to call our little renovation to the finished basement of our Condo, "The Movie Theater On A Budget". Our total investment including the projector, lamps, cables, "Bose 321 system", "screen paint from goosystems.com", construction materials and labor to frame out the screen (painted wall) and hide the speakers, ceiling light fixtures, curtains flanking the screen, pillows and other accessories and all the furniture from "IKEA" came to a humble $5400. Another $950 was spent on materials and labor for a beverage bar built under an adjacent stair to include custom cabinets, mirror and mini-fridge.

Yes, it is a rather simple "Scandia" design, but very warm and comfortable. The satellite speakers of the Bose are located behind silver metal picture frames with cloth stretched over a plywood frame and hung over openings in the dry-walled speaker base. The sub-woofer is hidden in the cabinet to the left of the screen and a hole was provided in the left side and covered with an auto speaker grille to allow for dispersion of sound. The cabinet is also very useful for convenient placement of the DVD player and to store DVD's and accessories.

Some 30 frames on the surrounding walls were purchased from garage sales for pennies, sanded and painted silver. The matts were leftovers from other projects and were a variety of colors that we cut and rolled out with flat red wall paint. All the photos that appear in the frames are of movie and TV celebrities from past and present, printed from the Internet and mounted on matt board.

We seldom go out to the movies any longer as the visual and sound experience of our new Home Theater is awesome, certainly more comfortable and a lot less expensive. Thank you so much for your courteous help, wonderful website and quality products."

Sincerely yours,
Larry and June Rigg
