"I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone at ProjectorPeople for their advice and assistance in getting me exactly what I needed to complete my home theater project. I worked with Mike Norton and he was very helpful in answering all of my questions. After all of the comparisons were done I decided to purchase the Sanyo PLV-Z5. This projector was very affordable and easy to install.

I constructed this 14' x 20' room exclusively for a dedicated home theater with controlled lighting all around. Wall sconces and a few recessed lights gave a real theater look. A front center stage to conceal my subwoofers and a built in audio cabinet for components added a nice touch and kept the room free of any loose cords or wires. For audio, I went with a Paradigm Monitor series system which provided an excellent surround sound with a sleek appearance.

I wasn't sure which screen to purchase, so I decided to make my own. I basically painted the area with a matte white finish and trimmed around the picture with wood wrapped in black speaker fabric. The projector was installed with ease, and just one HDMI cable to my receiver was all it took. My wife and I turned it on and we were absolutely amazed by the picture quality. This was exactly what we were looking for and it was all completed for a fraction of the cost that other stores or local contactors were charging. Thanks again!!!"
