6. Share photos with an old fashioned slide show

If you have your pictures in digital format on your laptop, desktop, or digital camera, you can have a slide show using your projector. Simple and inexpensive programs can be purchased, or may even come free with your operating system, to add titles and special effects to your presentation as well.

Some digital cameras will allow you to create slide shows with their software, either directly from the camera, or using the software that comes with it. Your digital pictures can also be viewed as a slide show with some online services.

Sony has added a "Memory Stick" slot on featured projectors making it even easier to share your pictures with others.
