Q:We need a projector you can shutter occasionally. We have it connected to a tv screen in the back which the singers use. But we don't want the words projected on the screen. Does this model have shuttering capability?Asked on 3/9/2017 by Louise from Terrebonne oregon
A:this projector has a blank feature where you can blank the screenAnswered on 3/28/2017 by Lisa from .
A:No. This projector does not have this feature. It does have a blank feature
with the remote but that will be difficult to make work in most
environments.Answered on 3/9/2017 by jbburns75 from undisclosed
A:I'm not sure what you mean by "shuttering" but I would assume you just want to blank the screen out? This projector has a button on the remote that does just that, entitled "blank."

1. Does the laptop hdmi output work on another hdmi display?
2. Sounds simple but have you selected the proper input on the projector?
3. Try another hdmi cable. Not all hdmi cables are made the same.

Q:Unable to operate after switch on .... it turn off automatically
How long the shelf life of the bulbsAsked on 3/2/2016 by Khai from Indonesia
A:We recently got this same model and all I can think of is that if it's not able to find a source (I.e. computer) the bulb will shut off to save life. If the signal is getting thru the bulb should stay on.

I don't have much to offer here, as we have not had this
problem with our unit, after ~3 months of installation. I did note,
however, that the manual says that once turned on, the unit should remain on
for at least 10min's. Also, once turned off, the unit should remain off for
at least 10 min's. Apparently failing to follow those guidelines can cause
damage to the system. It seems logical that the temperature/power control
functioning would be the part that would suffer.
Wish I had better insight to offer, but I did want to put
that out there.
Hope you get it resolved.
