Zero Edge™ is the world’s first and only multi-directional ambient light rejecting projection screen technology that has the look and feel of a flat panel TV. Featuring a rigid panel, a pencil-thin 10mm bezel, and the award-winning Black Diamond screen technology that can boost a projector’s contrast by over 900%, Zero Edge™ screens blend flawlessly with surrounding décor, deliver a stunning image, and provide a fully immersive entertainment experience for light or dark room applications.

A slender new frame design with an integrated track system enables the use of optional LED Lighting behind the screen for added effect and to fully complement the room’s design and décor. No assembly is required; simply unpack and hang the screen.

Mounting options include recessed / unframed, flush to the wall, projected off the wall, or flying from the ceiling by slender cables, all of which provide an incredibly sleek appearance. Available in custom screen sizes and configurations up to 150 inches, and sold for a price that is often less than an 80 inch or larger flat panel TV, the combination of a Zero Edge screen and projector can deliver significantly more value per square inch than flat panel TVs.

Learn more about the SLATE material below.

  • SLATE 1.2 gain - Slate™ replaces the need to settle for a substandard screen in a family room setting, by rejecting 65% of the room’s ambient light vs. only <10% light rejection with a white or gray screen.

Comments about Screen Innovations 5 Series Zero Edge - Slate:

Looks awesome; can't wait to actually fire the projector up so that we can get a true sense of what our end result will be.

Only other advice: we didn't realize when we ordered that it comes pre-assembled on a semi truck in a box that is 10 ft long by 6 ft tall... suffice to say that is not an easy item to move throughout a home or hallways that are anything but straight. We ended up needing to contact Screen Innovations to understand how to disassemble to move to the desired room (basement theater) and then reassemble. It ended up being easy enough, but did create some anxiety given the price tag. Would have been better to receive item not assembled.

Projector People during the ordering process was helpful and service after the sale equally great!

Hello, I'm looking to purchase a screen. I am not sure the right one for my application. I like the looks of the BD zero edge. My current projector for the screen will be the Epson powerlite 1716 in the living room. I want it for daytime viewing as the living room can get bright. I will be upgrading in less than a year to the Epson 5020ub,6020ub, or the Panasonic with automatic lens memory have not made that decision yet. If I go with the Panasonic then a 2.35 Screen. Size will be 120inch screen 3d viewing to. If I go Epson then mainly watching 16:9 size blu-ray movies and 3D content. Do all the SI screens use the LED light kit (pure, zero edge, slate) what gain do I choose since it says 3D for large viewing (its only my living room) or the other that says for bright rooms? Which model : slate, zero edge, pure will be right for 3D and still provide light rejection.

    Thanks for you help
