The Perfect Projector For Churches (and Businesses and Classrooms Too!)
The bright, 4,200-lumen VPL-FX30 is a versatile choice for a wide range of applications. Able to project detailed, sharp images onto screens up to 600” diagonal and with a comprehensive range of adjustments to help installers, this outstanding projector can slot into almost any type of venue.
- Installation flexibility. The VPL-FX30’s wide zoom standard lens makes it possible to keep the same mount position if upgrading from an older model. A centered lens makes it easy to calculate symmetric installation. Compatibility with current optional lenses (VPLL-Z1024 & VPLL-Z1032) accommodates a wide range of throw requirements.
- Maintenance made EASY. When it’s time to replace the lamp, a message will appear onscreen. Lamp replacement and filter cleaning can be performed quickly, easily and at the same time, without uninstalling the projector, since both are accessible from the rear. And Sony’s dust protection system makes for an advanced long filter cleaning cycle, which means less frequent filter changes.
The VPL-FX30 is the latest of Sony’s projectors to incorporate BrightEra technology, Sony’s new technique to precisely align liquid crystal displays.
By massively increasing the LCD panel’s resistance to ultraviolet light, BrightEra improves reliability. At the same time, BrightEra shows its superiority over other LCD panels by allowing an increased aperture ratio, which results in a much brighter image, without the drawbacks that can affect other types of high-brightness systems.
The projector also comes with PrimeSupport – fast, hassle-free repairs and a helpline offering expert technical advice. This gives you the peace of mind that Sony is looking after your equipment, and your business.

A:Yes there is a warranty with the demo unit. Also it will work outdoors.Answered on 4/14/2013 by Community Answer from None
A:Yes, it comes with Sony's standard warranty. It will work outside, but how well depends on the lighting and screen size. If it's used during the day, you will have to have the screen in the shade as much as possible.Answered on 4/15/2013 by Anonymous
