Optoma UHD60 4K UHD 3,000 Lumen Home Cinema Projector
The UHD60 is a state of the art 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) Projector for home cinema and home theater capable of delivering ultra sharp images with a high level of detail and breathtaking color.
With 4 times the pixels of 1080p, an Ultra High Resolution of 3840x2160,3000 lumens, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, High Dynamic Range in the form of HDR10, vertical lens shift and a massive 1.6x Zoom, the Optoma UHD60 has been engineered to deliver the ultimate 4K UHD home viewing experience. The Optoma UHD60 is powered by a revolutionary Texas Instruments 4K DLP UHD Chipset with a high performance DMD utilizing XPR video processing technology with fast switching to display 8.3 million “distinct” pixels as mandated by the Consumer Technology Association’s 4K UHD 2160p specification.
The UHD60 can project 4K UHD images up to 140 inches, allowingviewers to be in optimum viewing area to enjoy all 4K UHD pixels, from a distance of up to 11 feet. The average 55-75 inch 4K UHD TV simply cannot match this, as viewers typically sit further away from their TV than the optimum viewing area of 4-6 feet. High Dynamic Range, also known as HDR is the true star of the 4K UHD show. HDR leverages REC.2020 wide color gamut and DCI-P3 color gamut coverage to deliver super luminous levels of white, the deepest black levels, and beautifully striking like-life real world color that was previously only possible in the Cinema.
A generous 15% vertical lens shift and 1.6x optical zoom provide a great deal of flexibility in terms of installation location within any home, while dual 4W stereo speakers generate audio that is loud and crisp. The lamp life on the UHD60 is a robust 10,000 hours in ECO mode and 15,000 hours in Dynamic mode.

This projector is amazing! 4K DLP UHD XPR is wow! The 18gbps HDMI 2.0 hdcp 2.2 input handles 4k/60 content great!
I played my PC games at 4k/2160p/60fps at 4:4:4 8bit and wow! The clarity is incredible!
The projector handles fast motion extremely well; I played RiseOfTheTombRaider and Titanfall2 and noticed no input lag or screen image issues at all.
The 4K clarity is so sharp and vivid, vibrant and amazing! DLP imagery is fantastic.
Thank you to Optoma and Texas Instruments for making this amazing projector!

Q:I would be projecting to a large screen 40 feet from the front of the projector...what is the range of image size (width) possible with the UHD60 at that distance? Thanks!Asked on 10/30/2017 by gary from Minnesota
A:From 40' the projector can fill a minimum screen size of 248" and a maximum screen size of 396".Answered on 12/6/2017 by Sarah
Q:CNET says "Optoma has a total of 2,716 by 1,528 micro-mirrors" in this projector. So this is not true 4k. Why does Optoma not put this in the advertised specs? Seems like deceptive practice to me. I am ready to buy 4k but not unless it is actually 4k.Asked on 7/11/2017 by Robert from MD Maryland
A:It is not a native 4K. Resolution is 1/2 a true 4K and pixel shifts. The native 4K projectors start at $8000 and I am not sure if you can see a differenc between the two. It is a great unit.Answered on 7/13/2017 by Anonymous
Q:Does the USB service port on the Optoma UHD60 projector supply power that can be used for powering fiber optic to/from HDMI cables, such as Celerity Technologies fiber optic HDMI cables?Asked on 7/7/2017 by Bill from Virgina
A:No, the USB is there to allow for any Optoma updates that could happen. It does not supply power.Answered on 7/13/2017 by Anonymous
Q:With such a great light output rating why is the stated max screen size only 140 inches? I have a Panasonic AE8000 that I use with a 150 inch diag screen with great results.Asked on 6/5/2017 by Howard from Fayetteville, GA
A:Hi Howard. Which projector are you asking about? I'll email you separately.Answered on 6/9/2017 by ProjectorPeople.com from Tampa, FL
