    Comments about BenQ W7500:

This Replaced a 2008 $20K Runco projector and has a superior picture. Yes the Runco lens was better and more flexible, but I had little trouble dialing in the manual zoom and focus on the BenQ. The only quibble I have is that the advanced color controls (cuts and gains plus the CMS) are a little difficult to adjust. It took a couple of days to get the hang of them. If you are not an experienced calibrator with good equipment and software, I would suggest hiring a pro for calibration. That being said, the "cinema" defaults out of the box are quite good and the average viewer will be pleased without a calibration.
