Comments about Elite Yard Master Series:

I have the 150" diagonal screen. The frame sags a good 9 inches in the middle, creating impossible-to-correct-for curves on both the top and bottom. This is a limitation in the framing design itself. Also, the diagram that shows how to close up the velcro straps on back show a completely-closed (overlapping) final result, but in reality, the loops that you put the velcro straps through extend past the edge of the fabric, so there's to way to get close the opening fully, creating areas where a setting sun pokes through the back, illuminating the screen from behind. Also, the white screen material is fraying pretty bad -- I'm hoping it doesn't fray past the sewing line. I constructed some PVC spines to help support the upper part of the frame in order to reduce the unacceptably huge wrinkles in the screen fabric. With the PVC tubes, wrinkles are no longer a problem. If you do that, use gaffer's tape to change white PVC to black. I may try building two center-supports to support the bottom to eliminate sag.

      • Q:

Can this screen be used indoors on the existing stand and is there any sort of stabilization that would be needed to use it inside (think gymnasium)? We have outdoor & indoor needs for this type of screen.

          A:

You can use the screen indoors or outdoors. There's no accessory to stabilize the screen and the screen will be fine indoors as it is.
